1. OK then, so why have the option to choose different armors on the PvP equipment panel? Why not just have all the same standard "Pvp armor", and just have one set of plain robes for each profession? Why have different skins?
2. Its not like that at all really. to get 500k you'd have to farm items and money for hours. Balthazar Faction you get it everytime you go into PvP, and if you've unlocked everything, then you'll just keep getting more and more to use on what? Sure, you could now just say "Yeah, but PvE players get money everytime they go into an area, so they will eventually get lots of money and run out of things to buy" Balthazar Faction is just a by-product of PvP, and after you've unlocked the things you want, you're not going to conciouslly go out and grind for it, unlike farming money.
I /sign this idea.

Great idea. Although I would make the unlockable pvp skins different from pve skins I think.

Obby Armour and the like are rewards for PvE players who spend a lot of time farming. PvP players who spend equal amounts of time in PvP should get the same reward.

Hey, a suggestion for the Guild faction pool, It would be nice if you could share faction in the Guild.
Let's say A donates 15k faction to guild pool.
Later that day, the guild gvgs and player B misses one skill to run the new build, the guildleader/officer could then transfer X faction to that specific player. This would help a lot with new players who don't have the skills to play the builds, but still know what they are doing.

/signed, but i dont support the fact that i would have to get titles in order to get most sets. Make each set cost 10k faction per piece of 15k. So each set of 15k is 40-50k BF.

/signed because i dont see it could do any harm but this will make many
PvE'rs and even some PvP'ers that pvp angry because the time they took to get fow or 15k and black dyes to use them in pvp will be useless

You could just buy them in parts, dont have to unlock a whole set at a time.

/signed as long as the PvP armors won't be the same as PvE armors. That would help exclusivity. I like to see someone on prestige armor and say "That's a PvE character". Also for those exclusive PvP emotes, they should be unlockable by PvE aswell of at least give PvE exclusive emotes too.
The idea is very nice though. I still have a lot of skills to unlock, but I know I will probably achieve them before next year.
I didn't like the PvP modes where there were no rewards. Pre-Balth Faction Random and Team Arenas, Pre-Titles PvP too. Now I can get the feeling that I'm working towards titles be it on PvE or on PvP.
And the "Balthazar Faction acquirement title track" would be a good measure of GENERAL PvP, not specific PvP as other titles. Think of it as an International Skill Hunter title.

Bathazar faction needs more stuff to unlock (maybe you could get sugar cakes or ale for every 250 faction or something), but armor.... nah.

1. Do you know how easy it was to exploit knowing what armor function your opponent had? PvE characters from Cantha could mask their armor function with whatever art they wanted... it is impossible to tell what type of armor a canthan had. However, PvP characters got ripped off with art that showed you what function you had. This was a big disadvantage and I am very glad they fixed the balance there. Why not have one set of plain robes and etc.? Everyone would look identical. If there are two warriors with 2 different armor arts, I can remember- just by looking- which one is the stance tank and which one is the sword warrior. That way, if I see Mr. Stance tank approach me, I know it is best not to attack him with my axe... I don't have to memorize his name, I can just look at the character himself and recognize him. By having people not identical, you can remember who has what purpose just by seeing their character on the battlefield.
2. Balthazar faction exists for the sole purpose of unlocking stuff without playing the PvE campaign. This is a fact. I have my Balthazar Faction capped and nothing to spend it on but I still enjoy the game- blasphemous, I know, but now that my faction has served it's purpose, I am rewarded with EVERYTHING UNLOCKED for every single profession. I can run whatever build I want whenever I want with no limitations. That is the purpose of Balthazar Faction, not letting you get prettier armor.

QFT. Armor is for PvE and Emotes are for PvP. I would be PISSED if they awarded deer emotes for "Explorer of Tyria" because that takes away everything the emote stands for. It works the same way for armor.

If this is implemented the armor would still keep to the standard One Statistics type but vary in look, nothing else. This would keep it how it is just make it so the players who can afford it have it. Basically the PvP version of FoW, an extra not a necessity.

So you don't like more rewards? The fact that Balth Faction has only one use doesn't mean it has to be like that, there's a lot of room for improvement in this area.
I wasted (not gained) far over a million faction and i hate it. UAX is not much a reward, it can be made in a month, then there's nothing.
There has to be a way to do something with factions after UAX, the system with increasing cap after getting titles seems unfinished. Additional armor sets are just one of possible options but they seem to be most obvious one. If you don't like that try sugesting something YOU would like to spend your excess faction on.
I'm glad so many people liked my ideas, and I hope some devs also read this.

This has been suggested before and still needs to be implemented.
PVP chars should be able to earn Fissure armor just like any other character.
It is grossly unfair to forever condemn PVP chars to ugly armor simply because they are PVP characters. Let them unlock any and every skin in the game, end of story.

Generally I say go for it provided it's as hard to get those fancy armor than in PvE (FoW armor mainy). But... unlocking an armor skin means it would be available to all your PvP chars, so the number of Factions to unlock them should reflect that. I think what's posted in the first message does. So, yes, /signed
However, I wouldn't support the idea of having sets costing 10K per part or a FoW armor skin that would be unlockable without a high rank in PvP (champ, hero, glad) for the reason explained above (aka: it should ba as hard to get than in PvE, AND in PvP it's would be for all your PvP chars).
